Notes

This variant of Version 2 has the section on sizes and distances as the "conclusion (khātimah)." John Greaves (d. 1652) appended a Latin translation of a section "on the magnitude of the Earth and the distance of the celestial spheres from the Earth" from Qūshjī's Risālah dar hayʾa in his treatise Astronomica Quadedam. This witness contains marginal notes in Latin in the hand of Greaves for this section (ff. 64-65a).
