This Greek treatise on spherical geometry is lost but was translated several times into Arabic between the 9th and 10th centuries [known as Kitāb fī al-ashkāl al-kurrīyah (كتاب في الأشكال الكرية) or Kitāb al-ukar (كتاب الأكر)]; and these became the subject of numerous commentaries and revisions. |
