This is the astronomy section of the Dānish-nāma-yi ʿAlāʾī, which was presumably translated from the corresponding section of the Kitāb al-Najāt, which is entitled al-Arṣād al-kulliyya. Many, if not most, manuscripts and editions of the Dānish-nāma do not contain this section, but it is contained in the French translation by Achena and Massé.
