The copy is defective. Fol. 1a contains a blank space after the beginning quoted above. Fols. 5-7 are also blank. The following note at the end tells us that the present copy is transcribed from a copy which exhibits the defects mentioned above: نجزت كتابة ما وجدته من هذا الكتاب. copied: Madrasa Kāmiliyya, Cairo 890 A.H.

Is this the same as al-Šuʿāʿāt al-šamsiyyaẗ (p. 40 (no. 79), Ph2)?
