Ahlwardt: The name of the author is [ابو العنبس] [or العنبسة ] [الصيمري]. The above [ابو العمنس] is certainly incorrect. On F. 66b he is called: [ابو المس الصمرى] and in Cod. Par. Suppl. 672, p 327: [ابو العنبث الضميري منجّم]. This Abū al-ʿAnbas al-Ṣaymarī lived before 640/1242.
A detailed description of the 12 images of the zodiac, beginning from Aries: first in general, then re: what color it is, which animals, plants, rocks, water, countries, lunar stations, parts of the body, activities, etc., relating to the same.
