From King, Math. Astr. Med. Yemen (p. 39): Al-Najrānī's Zīj has not survived in its entirety. Fragments containing only planetary mean motion tables and equation tables are preserved in the Damascus and Milan witnesses. al-Daylamī (for whom see King, MAMY, p. 41) also incorporated some of al-Najrānī's tables in his Zīj. Al-Najrānī appears to have relied rather heavily on Ibn Yūnus. |
